Samuel Burt began creating music on a computer with the Atari ST computer in the early 90s.

At the University of Georgia, he found MaxMSP and Pure Data and began experimenting.

His Pure Data patches include pedagogical demonstrations, performance augmentation of acoustic instruments, and custom built instruments using a variety of HID controllers.

He occasionally offers his services to design custom audio applications. Rhythm Prism is a set of custom objects that John Berndt uses to create relabi, a new form of music he invented. Soon to be featured on a new album!
